ok so im drivng down a smaller highway when i see a black vette w/ and old man driving. we were next to each other at the light i was kinda glancing over there to check out his car. when the lgiht dropped green he took off , i was thinking ****! and took off and caught up to him. we were driving in a single file line on a 2 way highway goin around 65, we were avoid cars in the other lanes.

finally theres no more cars a straight way in the raod, he pulls into the right lane and goes, i slam it in 3rd and go after him. when we both started goiung his rear bumper was 5 feet ahead of the nose of my car. at the end of 3rd gear slamming 4th gear we were dead even. then as i got to 120 i was a car ahead when i let off.

i later follwed the guy and asked him about the car, he said it was a 2000 C5 automatic. i think those are around 50,000 dollars and run the quater in 13.6ish. im very very happy with my performance even thouhg i now my car cant hit 12.6s do to fwd.

the C5 is just your run of the mill vette, my friends dad has one they go for about 32Kish, the Z06 goes in the 50K range, reguardless sticking with any new vette is a feat in its self!!!
