Topic #46780 7 posts Started by greenenvy
hey everyone i got a 96 celica st which is slow because its auto and performance parts are slim i got 160 thousand miles on it and yea can see my page on what it looks but anywho. my plan is to take over my uncles chevy camaro 96 with only 61 thousand miles super clean and all stock but i gotta give up my celica what do you guys think is it worth it?? i like both cars but chevy?? i dunno i always here crap about them cars but i love that power!! i dont have alot of money so swapping out the engine to my celica is not an option plus i dont wanna go thru all that trouble. so my question is should i take the chevy??? or stick with old faithful??? every help me out plz? aight hit me up!
if you don't have a lot of money stick to the celi and wait a couple of year for the power, why ? because toyotas are more reliable than chevys, parts are cheaper / easier to find and I won't even mention the MPG difference between the 2.

ST saves a lot of money on gas since you know this summer gas price is going up again. lol I dunno its all up to you in the end, camaro is nice, drove a couple before but I like toyota all the way. Camaro drinks $$$$ really fast

is the chevy V6 or V8?
idk, the camaros got some pros too, less miles, worth more, but big thing is it doesnt last as long as the toyota
I'd say parts would be waaayyy cheaper and way easier to find for the chevy. plus it's easier to work on, so if you have to pay somebody to do the work for you you won't be paying as much in labor. but, it will eat more gas and break more often. you just have to figure out which is worth more to you.

96 camaros aren't the coolest either, if it was like a 1960-70 camaro...
