I just wanted to see if anyone from the area would be up for a casual get-together and talk shop here in Findlay or somewhere not too far. If we get enough people, I could talk to the local Toyota dealer about letting us meet there. I have a couple contacts there that might help me out. Anyways, I just was some opinions.

Sweet! I also know a kid with an st that I could convince to come. It'd proably just be casual...maybe swap some parts....have a beer or two. Maybe if Akimbo hasnt sold his car he could come out, too. I would like to see someone with a 3s done to see what I'm getting myself into. I could also talk to the mr2 guy I know with a 3s. I'll see if I can set a date once some more people post.

Lol Me neither, but if we all met at my house in findlay, there's always plenty of suds there. But I understand if people would rather do toledo. Closer for most. Findlay is just an hour south on toledo of I-75

How is the 14th for everyone? I'm just throwin out a date to see whats good for everyon. ITS NOT SET IN STONE. lol. If somthin else works, let me know. I really want this to work. The all toyota show last year flopped and I dont want to see that.

Eveningish. I dont want to have it too late or it'll be all dark when we are checkin out each others's car. like 4 or 5 would be good. Now I just gotta come up with where. My place is okay, as I have plenty of parking, but I have to check with my roommates first. Or if we do it in toledo, which looks like a better option for some of you, I'll need some suggestions on where. I'm not too familiar with Toledo as far as hang-out spots.

Not actually suggesting any dirty places. We were in Toledo for a week long work presentation in 2002 and got real bored real fast, so a bunch of us went searching for crummy little bars to drink at. Found this little hole in the wall downtown named hooters, and realized we hadnt seen a single girl outside of driving and meetings all week, so we decided to check it out.

Well, we got in there, and there definately werent any girls in there.

I'm ok with whatever lifestyle any given person chooses at any given time, nevertheless it was kind of uncomfortable having some 50+ year old guy sitting next to me at the bar leaning over and going "so how do I look for being a gay priest? woooould you *hacking* hiiiiit it!?"

So yeah. We werent there very long.

ok i am up for a meet i am not 3sgte but i am 7afte if you want to see and there is a show in tiffin on sep 1 from 2pm-5pm at the autozone there will be a dj and food and some very nice cars i have a turboed civic and the turboed celica , a couple of my buds have 3000gts and some very nice mustangs along with some old school muscle cars i wnt last year and was the onlt import there but every one was very cool and loved the celi let me know as far as the 14th goes i might be in the findlay area just let me know where

hey ron whats up id definltlay be up for a meet i wonder if we could meet with all of us from FIT on the weekend and have a big cruise with everybudy just throwing out the idea. just depends how long every one wants to be out....just think all of us rollin up together in a long line and showing off the rides to all the other imports..ill keep il keep in touch with you and F.I.T. about the 14..c ya

As long as everybody's cool with it, I think Findlay would be convienent (sp?) for the majority because I'm startin to see some more folks from my area on here. I'd suggest frickers for some food, and I could talk to the mall (I proably wouldnt even have to bother because its such a big ass lot) to see where we all could park it. TRD94: Props to ya for brigin out the turbo st. Flippin Schweet . Lance: As long as its cool with everyone else here, we could make it open to more than just Toyota's for the meet. Probably not for the wings and beer though.

Ok people. Gimmie some feedback on what yall are thinkin and we can do this thing.

Valo, do you know where I-75 is? Findlay is pretty easy if you just follow I-75 south. It takes about an hour to get there if one starts from the southern part of Toledo. Just head straight south on 75 and you wont miss it. You'll proably wanna get off at the State Route 12 exit/ Frickers is right off that exit.

Okay everybody, Frickers it is. (Unless somebodies has a chicken allergy ). And then it will proably be on the Findlay mall lot or the wall-mart lot. Frickers is kinda small and might get pissed if we take up all their space. Also, I wanna know if its cool for some of the local folks to bring out there whatever's (aka NOT 6gc's) after we eat. Findlay Import Tuners is just a group of guys (mostly kids) like us that mess with cars and are all pretty cool. But, I understand if we just wanna keep this 6gc/Toyota related. Keep in mind though, I WILL be attepmting to organize an All-Toyota meet at the dealership later this summer.

Keep me posted. Cant wait to meet you guys.

i will try to met up on the 14th but i dont know if i will bring the celica i need to get the windsheild fixed and she is in rough shape from the winters toll but i might bring out the turbo civic or maybe the 3000gt

I dont know if Frickers would just set aside a part of their lot for us, but they do have that lot thats kinda up the hill that nobody parks in.

true thats should work out sweet with parking i forgot about the hill...well it looks like we may just be having an import show/meet at the mall me n sum1 is goin to try to orginize it and get the radio stations out there n stuff well hope we can get alot of celicas n stuff from this site as well as others so we stand out the most....ron ill call u later with sum ideas c ya!!
