Topic #46403 21 posts Started by cnelson
i dont see why it wouldnt work, i dont know if this one does it or not, but im more of a fan of the type where you can still open them like a normal door instead of always scissor

you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!(2:27:32 AM) edit: please f*cking work, f*ck, sh*t, piss(2:28:08 AM) edit: that did the trick
if you feel like spending lots of time, measuring and welding smile.gif

Well can anyone recormend a good lambo door kit easy to install... for less than 600?

If i got the one i listed above how much for a shop to install you think?bg

"Drive Well......Drift Better"
i dont know too much but it might be better to spend another couple hundered and install it yourself i think theres a how too but im not sure how hard it is
yeah i read the how to.. i'm nervious about having to cut my fender? I don't want it to look like crap.. or i would do it myself.

"Drive Well......Drift Better"
bolt on kits = always better
universals = normally don't look as good
all vert kits HAVE to shave the inner fender...you can't even see it from outside the car

but if you're asking these questions you probably don't have the skill/ability to install a universal kit yourself and should be left to a professional at a shop

when we say shave how much are we talking about?

Also what kind of price for a bolt on?

"Drive Well......Drift Better"
there is a lip in the inner side of the fender, open you door you'll...you pretty much have to eliminate that lip/flap---its not hard, just need the rite tools to complete the job and please respray the fender so that it doesnt rust out.

also you could possible roll it, but good luck with trying to compelte that task

i kno someone in the for sale section had a bolt-on kit for sale...i thik he wanted $500...not bad for a bolt-on, but usually u could find for around $600-$700 if you look hard enough

..theres your problem right there buddy..if you want a $600 kit, then plyr is right n i couldnt have said it any better myself..get ready lots of measuring, cutting, and welding.
well than i'll just save up the $$$ and get a bolt on kit.

hmm.. i dont trust ebay products.. especially for your own car.. because some parts are knockoffs and some are not.. you have a 50 50 on that one... if you going to buy anything from ebay.. LOOK AT THERE POSITIVE FEEDBACKS and READ THE COMMENTS that been left... goodluck tho..

hi guys,
long time no talk.

That kit is a complete weld on. Its pros are that its 90 degrees. That kit is also a cheap knock off. Hows your skills? Is it possible, yea but make sure they have experience installing and you dont hit the panels with
your pillars.

Ouch! Not to speak badly, but I never thought those doors could look bad on any car until now. Well then again, perhaps if you had all 4 doors done like that on an echo, that could be worse. LOL That's just my opinion though. I know it is a lot of $$$ and work to put those on. I was thinking about it, but after those photos.... Unh unh. I would rather save my money, and blow it in Vegas. Celi needs a new engine baby! (as I will say before I throw those dice). Yeah I know. Lame. I am. Sorry. Hey, am I talking to myself? Holy cow..... I am.

lambo doors are sexy...period. <--haha, literally. well n e way, just to some things up, for show quality purposes, good. daily usage..not so good. it kinda sucks when your parked a half mile away from the mall, its raining, and you want to hurry and get down from the car, but you cant cause you want to make sure you open and close the door carefully..(not to mention if you have a passanger with you)..just my good ol' 2 cents..
