How is everyones bracket doing? So far I'm not too bad... and yes I'm retarded and have Florida actually losing to my Boilermakers today.... So far it's not outta the question... Anyone else here a Purdue fan?
I have the gators all the way.... This next round should be pretty good -- there hasnt been much "madness" yet. I think UNLV can pull the upset over Oregon for some reason .. they're playing really well right now.
how about socal beatin texas...thats right i picked it
lost on the wisconsin pick though
ohio st goin all the way...i don't think it'll happen though
i hate the Gators, i think them winning was a fluke!! i like UCLA, but i honetly dont think we can win it all, but maybe!

if you think they won by fluke last year .. if they win again this year, you will believe .. right.

oh yeah, i would believe, i mean ULCA getting 2 the last game last year was way farther then they should have gone, i think neither of those teams should have been in the final game. but now that the Gatos have that confidence that alone makes them a better team.

Georgetown could potentially be dominant enough if they can work together. those big men can crash the boards good . what do u guys think?
tennessee all the way!! haha 121pts the 1st game...YEAH! hopefully ohio st isnt to much for them...they only lost by 3 in the regular season so we'll see.
HOW ABOUT THOSE MARIST WOMEN!

REPING POUGHKEEPSIE LIKE THEY SHOULD!

BEAT:

(4)OHIO STATE

(5)MID TENN

This year's tournament has been dissappointing. Probably the worst tournament played in a REALLY long time. No cinderella story this year. Just lame. Couldn't beat last year's George Mason team makin it to the final four. 2007 was a snoozefest.

Forget that.... This tournament has produced AMAZING games... My favorite tourney in a long time... I loved having a Final Four of two number ones and two number twos.... The best teams all year are now showcasing each other.... All real basketball fans should appreciate that more than a cinderella team

I totally agree with you. Most people that dont know much about basketball like the cinderella stories so they can cheer for the underdog. Even though not many huge upsets, a large majority of games have been good high caliber basketball. I loved betting on college ball this year ... pretty consistent plays.

(Even though g-town won me some good money .. they shouldnt have won that game where i think it was ewing or green travelled the last play of the game)

Who do you think will win the championship -- im on Florida obviously - (Oden gets in foul trouble too fast)

Thats what makes college basketball what it is. The upsets, and trust me. I have more knowledge of sports than you credit me for. The fact that the favorites always wins just makes it lame and boring and too predictable. That's why the NBA is lame. There are no surprises, there are no cinderella stories. The fact that college basketball was on the verge of extinction (when i say extinction, i mean the college stars) shows how downhill college basketball has come over the years. The fact that the NCAA and the NBA had to make a rule that stated that high school players were no longer eligible to enter the NBA draft shows how much college basketball has fallen. Without that new rule, there would be no Kevin Durant and Greg Oden in college basketball. Why else would the NBA look outside the country for future talent? Without the cinderella stories, college basketball is nothing.

Without the underdogs, Jimmy Valvano and the Cadillac Kids of NC State in 1983 would have been meaningless. Or the 1985 Villanova team which won the national championship while being just an 8 seed would have been just another game. These games are the games that stick in your head the longest. That is what college basketball is all about. Only people that don't appreciate the game of college basketball wouldnt appreciate the upsets and the cinderella stories.

There would still be an Oden AND a Durant.... Both players would've headed to college regardless. Durant wasn't THAT amazing in highschool... He's worked his ass off to get where's he's at and Greg Oden stated he would attend college a while back before the rule if I'm correct... Cinderella's are indeed nice and boost the games overall picture... But I think championships are SUPPOSED to be between the best teams... After all, they deserve it

Greg Oden only stated that he was going to attend Ohio State because of the rule and him and Connelly wanted to go to the same school. He would have gone pro in a heartbeat and i'm SURE Durant would have too. Oden was exposed in this year's tournament and in my eyes way overrated right now. Better go back to school. The womens NCAA tournament has proven to be way more exciting this year. A number 4 seed Rutgers beating a number 1 and 2 number 3 seeds to go into the championship. Way more exciting than the mens tournament where there was only ONE real upset. Lame.

Here.. look at phoenix's schedule http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/teams/schedule?team=pho, they're won of the top teams in the NBA. If the NBA is so lame and not unpredictable - how did they lose to Atlanta, Seattle, Sacramento, and GS, these really crappy (I mean Cinderella story teams). These games have cost me a lot of money lol and for you to say the nba is not predictable I invite you to make bets on a daily basis (on these favorite teams) and you my friend will see that it is retarded how the NBA is SO unpredictable.

damn i hate the Gators but i guess they r all right. But ESPN was talking crazy saying "are they the best team ever" hell no not even in the last 15 years. 1995 UCLA was a beast.

I'll agree with you on that one .. this gator's team is NOT the greatest team ever. lol I personally liked the fab five as "greatest" -- but i think the whole world does too.
