For a while i've been thinking about how my car can be the best looking at school.. this other kid with an audi keeps out doing me.. but when i come back senior year. This is what i want to have done..

Invader Body Kit (Maybe a differant rear bumber to fit the coupe)
Drop 2.5in all around
Tint 100% in back, 60% in front
Rims & Tiers (16 or 17in)
Custom Box in trunk to house 2 10in subs, and a amp.
All new speakers in car (4 spearkers at like 70RMS)
CarPuter (I'm going to pay pitfirefighter to make one)
Lambo Doors (Only reason being that not a lot of people have these..)
A Pillar Gauge Pod (Oli Temp, Fuel Temp, And another gauge..)


MAYBE:
Carbonfiber hood
Under Neon (On the fence about this one..)
PS2 In Glove Box
Fog Lights (Probably going to make a point to get this one done..)

Because i want my car to make the yearbook section.. i'll be damned if his makes it before mine!

I'm going to have to work my ass off this summer..

But i want my celica to look her best! So hopfuly i can make it happen!

No 16's with a big body kit. Go with 17's or 18's at that point.

I made the school ride's section as a senior... with my MKII GTi....

EDIT... 100% tint? Won't that be no tint? I think you mean a considerably lower number than that.

lol. as 100% i mean like 1% i always get that backwards.

i think i'll keep updating this theard.. i'll cross things off the list as they get done or as i decided i don't want/can't do it. And when things to get done i'll add pics.. and how much it cost me.. I'm sure as time goes on i'll just want more and more.

man you got a pretty big list, the lambo doors are going to awesome imo, the 2.5" drop on a invader kit is going to be pretty low though, i dont know if you have any speedbumps in your area, but im pretty sure that setup is not going to get over any. id go with teins. definitely get some pics up as you progress and good luck

you want to upgrade your ride just to "out do" someone ? I want to upgrade mine because I care about my car, I love the way it looks, and I know it has incredible potential. Not because someone down the street or at my school "out does" me, sorry but I think that is a dumb reason

With my cars.. Ive upgraded them because of necessity.. and if the upgrade is cheap. LOL.. Thats why I have 3 sets of wheels for my Celicas.. and I recently bought a CF Hood for the 00 GTS.. for 50 buckz

Your pointed in the right direction, but for the wrong reasons. You souldnt spend money to "out do" someone, because there will ALWAYS be someone who has a nicer ride than you (always a bigger fish...)

Do some research on gauges. Dont just put gauges in for the sake of having them (fuel temp/another gauge??) figure out what you want to monitor then go from there. Tire pressure gauge is always handy...

No, no... ok maybe i was mis-understood believe.. i love my celica and i'm not upgrading it just to "out do" someone.. its just that, that is the reason that put me over the fence..

I would never let someone else define why i upgrade my car. It just happened to be that at about the same time i wanted to upgrade will be in my senior year, and SOME not all of the motovation behind it is because i want to make the "Best Car" section of the year book.

Maybe that'll clear some things up.. I've always wanted to upgrade my celica, just now i'm def. going to do it.

I'm probably going to get..

Air/Fuel Gauge
Oli Pressure Gauge
Volt Gauge (because i'll have a lot of after market stuff eating up the battery)

I'm not getting the gauges for sure, just an idea that i like.

After reading my first post i understand what everymeans... but i can assure you 100% that i'm going all this to my car for slef statafaction.. not to just out do someone else.. but if i out do him. It'd make me happy.

The whole point is.. that in my area of jersey there aren't many cars that come even close to some of the celicas i see on her.. i mean theres probably only 4 celicas within 75 miles of my house. So to have mine look awesome, would feel.. it would just feel so good to know everyones look at my car.
