I want to monitor my air/fuel reading. Im working on doing lagos led knock monitor upgrade. What kind or brand gauge should I get. I dont have any aftermarket monitoring devices or upgrades. Im running the 91 3sgte. Thanks

Get a wideband to go with it. Otherwise its just a fancy light show...

i have the aem uego wideband. its cheap and simple to use.

Thats the one I was looking at getting, when i get around to a af gauge...

What should I expect to spend on a aem uego wideband a/f meter? I searched ebay and found them for $250-350. Could I just use my o2 sensor signal instead of getting meters with the bosch sensor included? Thanks

no you cant use your old o2 sensor. the gauges the use the stock o2 sensor are pretty much useless for air to fuel ratio monitoring. all they can tell you is if the car is stoich or not stoich, witch wont do you any good. a wideband comes with its own o2 sensor that can read you exact air to fuel ratio.

there is a big difference between an a/f gauge and a wideband.

also have the uego. haven't run the engine yet so i cant tell you if i like it or not. but there pretty cheap on ebay, considering you get the gauge and sensor and its all plug and play.

yes the uego aem widebands are nice but if you really want to monitor the air fuel get the wego wideband 2 with data logging, i paid 300 for the numeric lcd gauge, the o2 sensor, bung, plug computer cable, and all necessary hardware and wires nicec for the money, but i plan on getting this car tuned so maybe itll help you out later!
