MimoUSA Headers - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #46288 7 posts Started by GTS13
Hey everyone!
It has recently come to my attention that MimoUSA sells headers for the ST. I searched and couldn't find anything with the exact name but some people apparently think it's the Corolla header that they assume will fit. Is this correct, has anyone purchased one of these?
And what about the brand? Are they like Pacesetter, the Kmart of headers?
I appreciate any help on this.
Thanks!

Ok...uhh, guess I'll just call and order one and give it a try since no one appears to have any contact with one...
same pictures ebay sellers use, possibly the same header as the ebay corolla header. if thats the case it wont fit right out of the box, its too short to reach the cat. the ebay corolla header is also about $86 less including shipping.

That $86 bucks should pay for the custom work on the b-pipe too. We installed the ebay header on o0black0o's car and after the custom work it looked and worked nicely. Little problem with the o2 sensor code but that was to be expected.
Thanks guys, I'll get it all worked out eventually.
yea the ebay header isnt bad at all. even tho my car isnt a celica, it is a 7afe and has a similar weight. the header really comes alive above 3500rpm and at 4000rpm it feels like something just opens up and woosh it pulls hard all the way along to redline with no fade at all.

you can fix the cat codes by using the spark plug anti fouler trick. i think you can find it posted here and probably on google. basically it spaces the post cat sensor back from the exhaust stream so it sees a smaller sample of gas and thinks that its been passed through the cat.
