I'm at 187K I think I am way to late, but is there a chance at all of seeing boost?
98 Celica gt red- totaled deer94 Celica st black DD (bad weather beater)- totaled deer95 Celica gt silver- chassis sold88 Celica All-Trac (Burned to a crisp)94 Celica gt white (sold)In need of a rust free chassis!!!!

the best way to know is pressure test on your engine. then post the results and people here will tell you if good to go or good to show. smile.gif

Already I'll try to get the compression check this week, schools killing me right now.

your close 200k on the motor. thats a lot of wear an tear.

Best to get another engine. That's not bad for NA, but it is for a turbo application. Metal changes over time with heat, friction, etc. It's not the same metal it was when it ws "young". It's gotten weaker and more brittle inside.Think of making an 80 year old run a marathon.

LOL, so true. Thanks guys for the input. I guess I should save up for a 3sgte swap. I want to do it sooo bad, but still in school.
