so i was driving on the parkway and when i was done using the cruse control i clicked it off by pressing the button in and the light stayed on. the cruse control wasn't stuck on, but if i pressed resume it would keep going. the light stayed on until the car was turned off and now it won't go back on. any suggestions?
cruse control stopped working - 6G Celicas Forums
it could be the cruise control buttons or the cruise control box. mine burned out and short circuited my interior wiring harness.

The back of my cruise control button sometimes pops out and the switch won't work. I pop it back into place and all is good. IDK what's up with that but it's really hard to tell that it has done it. Check the back to see if yours is doing the same.
that happen to my convertable when when i had it, it won't stay back on and some how lost it.
