Lucas Products - 6G Celicas Forums

I use lucas brand products such as their Oil Stabilizer, Fuel Treatment, and Red 'N' Tacky Grease, transmission slip. I use the fuel treatment every other month, grease for bearings and bushings, and oil stabilizer every oil change (just a lil bit), and the tranny fluid when I drained the tranny fluid and refilled it.

i use it in my honda tranny to help with slipping ,really helps!
technically i do since i go to you for help with my car.

ss-iii splitters and 404 skirts areon. which means i need to update my sig.
i used the lucas stuff on my tranny and it doesnt seem to make a difference except everytime i shift it sounds like a crunch, like the movie the fast and furious.

I've never seen that movie. Is it like a Captain Crunch?
yeah that stuff really works for engine and trany....really good stuff
I've seen a test using lucas oil stabilizer...it was shown to create foaming=air bubbles, something that supposely not good. It robs HP and fuel mileage being so thick too.

like freakin super thick. It feels annoying on my hands.

you do know that lucas products are used in race cars, i dont think they suffer from hp loss
Lucas oil stabilizer is designed to blend with the oil you are using. It isn't thick after you start the car. All it does is give the oil a higher viscosity. Also, the 80/90 gear oil works wonders in transmissions. It allows the transmission to shift smoother and run cooler.
The only Lucas Product I use is their fuel system treatment every 3 months smile.gif
