Importing a GT-4 - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #44458 2 posts Started by celicamike

Hi guys, I live in the U.S. and drive a '94 GT. I'm a poor college student at the moment but I've always planned on doing the 3S-GTE swap once I start my career and can afford a project. However, I've been thinking recently "what the hell, why not just import a GT-4 (if I can) once I have the money"? Although it won't be any time soon, I was wondering if it is possible to import a GT-4 into the U.S. Has anyone done it? If so, how much time, money, hassel is involved? Any info would be great. Thanks

there has been quite a few threads on this topic to say the least, so search the forums and youll find what you are looking for. its really not an option to import a gt-four into the states. i can only think of 2 on 6gc.net that have a legit gt-four, and there was one for sale in florida a while back. im sure there are ways to do it, but none of which would be easy or cheap.

edit- here is one thread addressing this issue
importing gt4
but ya, search around and there are a ton of other ones

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.
