there are other phones out there that can play mp3, as the L7 with itunes, or the w810i.
I don't like the idea of the size of the iphone. I mean, i cant image having that sit in my pocket.

actually, there's a 2MP camera built-in fyi.
the size imho is about perfect, maybe a little too big for a phone, but is just large enough for video, web browsing, etc etc.

DAMN... this does look pretty damn HOT! BUT it ALL being touch screen might be a problem? Itll get scratched up and what not. Plus itll be VERY delicate. Anyway, maybe once I get to play with it, Ill change my mind. Does anyone know what provider will this phone work with? GSM? CDMA? Neither? lol, If its GSM, it could be a possibility for an upgrade! hahaha.. Or I can just swap and get the enV!

i would assume cingular ...since there is a cingluar logo on the top of the phone 
..THe touch screen is not bad it would be like having a PDA phone which is what I have now (8125)..and I paid 450 for mine about a year ago with a new plan. With out it it was about 650. I would def. buy this phone

i watched the iPhone video on the site (about 45 mins long i think) and it goes through everything that the phone does.
btw, it's GSM + Quadband + EDGE, has both wifi and bluetooth.
the only problem i have with it now, is the battery life (5 hours of video, talk, wifi internet). it looks like it'll need to recharge every day (if not, twice a day).
But, i'm still gonna buy it as soon as it's available.

$385 for sidekick 3. and $350 for blackberry pearl. i was talking to amy the other day bout setting a thread here where i sell phones but i have not ask the mods for approval yet. but wat you guys think?

yay...more distractions for drivers trying to use their phones while driving. Im gonna feel real safe while driving with thouse things out. When i got into my big accident the moron who hit me was talkin on his cell phone the entire time. in Ontario the statistics are somethin like 1 in 4 accidents are caused by cell phone use. Now, its gonna b a cell phone, movie player, mp3 player, blender and toaster oven in 1!...greeaaatttt.
I dial phones by touching the number pad without looking at it...
With a touch screen phone... I'm not sure if I'm able to do that.

I so agree with you there azian. I know sometimes I feel like i have to when my gf texts me, which I just pull over on the side of the road.

I think steeve jobs is the king of pride and overhype. How is that phone going ro revolutionize or re-invent the cell phone market..with its padless dialer? They are so overconfident and all their ads reeks to my nose.

In Walnut / City of Industry where all these big "Taiwanese" brand manufacturers located, you can see truck drivers driving around talking on their Nextel phone..

iphones are already being 'pre sold' on e-bay even before they're released for about a grand.
i wouldn't even bother to think about this phone for at least another year, due to all the bugs it's inevitably bound to have. never, ever invest your money in 1st generation hardware. you'll be disappointed and basically be a second round beta tester for the company.
take a look at the iPod when it first came out, now look at it. it's improved 10x due to customer feedback & heavy usage. the same will be true with this phone.
cisco is suing them for the rights to the name, so who knows what it may be called when it does hit the street. i want one but i'm not going to spend $500 to be a beta tester for apple.
