DOes anyone have any information on how i can mod the ps2 tray into another tray, like say a CD ROM tray., I saw it done with an XBOX so i assume it can be done wit ps2.

Or somethin else that woud help would be where i can find a diagram of the ps2 ribbon

try http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/15105 (google is your friend) searched for "ps2 tray mods"

why do you want to mod the tray into a cd-rom tray, break it on accident? you can probably by a busted ps2 for cheap and yank/swap the tray.

If you are just trying to play backed up/bootleg games just use that swap magic, i use it and love it, im horrible at scratching up games, so i just use copies.

other than that im a bit confused on what your asking

Naaa its a car mod ive seen where the xbox was in the trunk and a CDrom tray was in the dash and whateva xbox games or dvds u put in the cd rom they would play from the xbox make sense?? it was wild wen i saw it

ohhh, i see, i guess you could do it that way.
You would have to find the cable that it uses, and just extend it.
I imagine it uses a regular ide cable.
