What does econ mean & do.

Anyone, i can't be the only one with air con

I could be mistaken since I rarely use my air conditioner (I drive a convertible), but if I remember correctly econ brings in air from outside the car while the second setting recirculates the air that is already in the car. I might have it swapped though...or just be completely wrong .

That would make sense as i know air con re uses the in car air
