Why don't you measure the front opening of your bumper and go from there. Intercoolers need direct airflow to best exchange heat. Not only that, but different intercoolers have different efficiencies. I'm pretty sure somebody with a 2nd gen 3S-GTE will chime in. I have an Evo VII intercooler on my 7A-FE and it has worked wonderfully. Little pressure loss and it's efficient enough for my application. smile.gif My buddy has the same one I do on his 530 WHP Mirage and it works great, too.

My modest IC...

87 4runner DLX 22re, 5spd, 4.30gr, 4" lift, 30" tires, HID w/ Projectors, 6spkr + sub, custom exhaust, 94 celica leather seats, SR5 gauge cluster and clinometer. Future engine swap... possibly a 2jzge.
you need to figure out how much airflow your makingand horsepower range because too large ^^kinda like that one will make you loose pressure and have an in efficient system...too small you'll be creating excess flow impedance....but look at brianforester/lagos/pressure2 they all have very well sized intercoolers for a 2nd gen (p2 having a 5sfte)

rofl.. I could waste my time telling you how well that IC flows and works.. but like I said.. I'd be wasting my time. What those other guys are running are perfect for the POS ct26..

you realized that in a way, you just agreed with what player said, right? lol

my recommendation is to measure out your front bumper to see how much space you have, while being able to keep your crash bar in there. then get the biggest thing that will fit in that area.

i have a 26x6x3 spearco intercooler. it seems to do its job, but i have thought about upgrading to a bigger one. the gt4 bumper gives me lots more room, that i figure i should be able to fit a 29x9x3 in there. it just all depends on what kind front bumper cover and crash bar you have.

yes if you have a weak turbo i agree with him.. but he made note that my IC was to large for my car..

this is not c-tech.
your needless bantering in posts is not needed, or wanted.
this is your 2nd warning.

rofl.. the guy asked what IC to use for his 2nd gen swap.. I showed him what I am using.. he didn't mention what turbo he may be using..
