JDM Recaro Interior - 6G Celicas Forums

I remember once did I ever see the JDM Recaro interior for our cars for sale from Jarco a few months back if it wasn't a year ago. Never again after that. Is it that rare to be hardly seen? Has anyone run into the full swapable interior either in their own car or up for grabs anywhere? I'm curious to see how the seats fit compared to our current stock, non-Recaro seats.

Recaro Edition came on GT4's and SSIII's only. JDM only. Rare as hell.

Instead of sourcing one for my SSIII - i bought pair of Recaro's from EVO8 and installed them along with the reupholstery in full alcantara. Seats are exactly the same as in Recaro edition celicas - and they are damn confy.

Ex celica owner - just a guy from other side of the pond...Full custom Projects from restoration to performance builds<<<<<< DCw / JDMart >>>>>>>

Not all JDM GT4's had them either. Like Doggy did, easier to find a pair from an Evo/Honda and then buy a set of Bride rails.

es, not all, as i said they are Dealer option only (i mean seats) so its really hard to find them. And you can get the rails for Celica from Recaro too.

Then you will just have to unbolt them from the car, place them somewhere where your Celi is not in the picture and take the pics biggrin.gif

Mines are different, and the one in the pic what you posted Kadett are exactly the ones what came in Celicas.

Those seats (if they are the same as EVO Recaros) are definitely NOT cheap. Few years back when I had my Lancer (no, not the EVO) I was looking for those. A used CLOTH front pair would go for 1000$ USD. I can't imagine what the leather set would go for.

i paid 800$ for the Alcantara ones from Evo8... Yea they are not cheap at all even here...

Those are Recaro-style. What everyone's on about are the proper Recaro's ('Recaro SR').
A lot more sought after and nicer than the ones in that e-bay listing.

those are discontinued right?

i was actually looking for some recaros too... and since those are so rare... i was thinking how about the dc-5 ones... they should fit fine right? as long as i can get recaro sliders n stuff?

I didn't know you guys were talking about brand name. But o-well i'm just getting my stock seats customized into racing seats. (added stuffing for sides and making them red down the center black on sides.) black head rest with red celica stitched. A lot cheaper.
