I don't think it's *NEW*, maybe it's older technology.

My 97' ST has the holder, and the 2000 GT has the plastic cord thingy.

Curious. Mine has/had the plastic cord thing (it broke). This is perplexing. TO my knowledge my door has not been replaced. Ummm I wonder if it was considered an "option". I doubt it though.
Fuel Door cap holder thingy ..... check!

got one and hardly ever use it.
Well Finally got that gas cap holder! biggrin.gif

Yeah it bugged me THAT much. Went to the junkyard and I took the plastic holder (not the entire door) off and waala. Yeah it was just kinda of a snap off snap on plastic thing that attached to the inside of the door.... kinda surprised it was that easy... tricky thou trying not to break the plastic. I'll post a pic of it later I guess.

Mission accomplished.
I never noticed that I had one before this thread. lol. I used it tonight for the first time when I filled up my tank tonight. lol

I was just in NJ this time last year and I filled my own gas. WTF? New law prohibiting you to fill your own gas? Why?
