Im curious as to what all the comments people get on their car are. Most probably dont wanna start a thread just for a comment they got so heres a place you can write it down so we can see what people say about our celicas when were out and about.

Location - Pulling into a parking spot at work
Remark - worker from a business next door "wow that car sounds fast. How much horsepower are you pushing out"

There's plenty of kids asking "how fast does it go?", "does it have NOS?" , "Is it a Supra?" .

the last compliments ive had were from people on the other side of the boarder. one was some kids in Toledo when i was lost lookin for directions. he was like chillin infront of some quick stop or somethin with this really really hagard dodge caravan and was like "YO!!! NICE CAR MAN!! ILL TRADE U ANY DAY B!"...lol

then i had some guy when i was in white lakes michigan ask me how fast ive taken my supra on the highway...lol i told him it was a celica and i told him 160..but i didnt say km/h and he freaked out cuz he thought it was mph. then he relized my ontario plates and calmed down a bit..lol

other than that, ive gotten alot of thumbs up from people on the road while driving. Last one i got was coming home from windsor and i had some guy in a ITR come up on me really fast on a 2lane section of the highway and wanted me to go faster, so i booted it from about 105 to about 150 and let him pass...but he wasnt expecting it..so he was kinda blown away by the acceleration.

Oh yeah I forgot about the one when I went to Jack in the Box last night who yelled NICE CAR.

I have had a few people ask me what I have under the hood. A couple people gave me a good look and a thumbs up. One girl called it a "sex car"

I get more compliments on my bike than my car, but i've had the following said about it -

"is that a supra?"
"how much for your car?"
"I LOVE YOUR CAR!"
"oooo... red"
"nice prelude"

A guy at arbys reached out and pet the car.

have had so many comments, but here are some i can remember.

"is that a supra?" -my girfriend when she first saw it

"what year integra is that?" -a coworker

her: "what year is your car?" me: "1997" her: "really? it looks sweet" -random girl at gas station

"dang, whats that run in the quarter?" -friend back in high school when i got my car, he thought it looked fast

him: "how many miles?" me: "44k" him: "you mean 144k?" me: "no just 44" him: "you have an awesome car" (or something along those lines) -last time i got my emmisions checked

the latest one was at a red light, this car pulled up next to me and this guy yelled out his window saying "I want to make love to your car!" I told him to go for it lol. I should have told him to be sure and wear a condom... I wouldnt want my car to catch anything

the most notable one was at pep boys about a year ago some lady and her son came up to me and said, "wow, how can someone your age afford a car like that? you must have a nice job."


that is a nice air freshener i can smell it from here(from a car in the next lane over at a red light)

Guy 2: Oh this is a nissan? its not a 300z, lame. (walks away)

As far as good ones, on the freeway people taking pictures. Someone asked for a ride after HIN (eire to think maybe he was gunna follow me home or write my plate down) And after I was getting my new trunklid someone said it wanted it, and would offer 10,000. I woulda sold if 12,000 haha anyway. Even after my dad got hit by a drunk driver taking it for a spin some lady saw me working on removing mods and said. Dont sell it, it looks great from the other side im sure youll fix it.

Feels good to think someone out there has a similar taste as you do.

Dang - (Comes back.) Dang, I love you exhaust sound. It sounds turbo charged but without the blow off valve. It's quicker than a Accord F22 suped up too.
Me - Yeah, I get that from people sometimes. I might as well throw in a blow off valve to make it sound turbo. (LoL) That way, it'll match the exhaust.
Dang - (LoL) That'll be hilarious. People will think you actually have a turbo.

It sounds turbo charged meaning that the exhaust sound output sounds like a turbo charged exhaust. You would have to hear it in real life to understand what I am talkin about. LoL. Seriously.

LoL. You got it ALL WRONG. He wasn't jealous. He was "AW'd" by the car. I guess he grew interested in it. In the enthusiast world I come from, it's not about who is the fastest and who is in what class or league. It's about props and respect for what customization is done to ones car. He was giving me props on my car. And oh yeah, he was comparing to a all motor F22.

Ok, I only said that just to make a laugh out of it becuz people keep saying my car sounds turbo'd. Just needs a Kuh! sound at the end of the exhaust sound. I didn't mean I really WAS going to do that. It'll be pointless and a waste of money. Does it look like I have a huge spoiler on my car? Or even carbon fiber everything? I don't think my car is fast. I only have exhaust and intake just becuz I expected better from stock (which was lame IMO). To be honest I don't street race anymore. I just stand by and watch. And even if I was to, no one would want to becuz the way my car looks. Sad but true. But my car is getting old (185k miles) and I'd rather not risk anymore money into replacement oem parts. I'm actually saving up for a BEAMs swap as of right now.

Oh yeah, funny you mentioned that becuz a year back I went into a Dodge dealership to look into a 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS that the dealership claimed to be turbo charged. I loved it. Black on black. When I popped the hood to look inside, no intercooler, no turbo. I saw a blow off valve but it was welded onto a short ram intake. I asked the dealer, "Wait a minute. I thought you said this is turbo'd? I don't see any intercoolers nor the turbo charger?" The guy responded, "The turbo is this tube right here." And pointed at the short ram intake with a blow off valve. I said to myself, "You got to be joking right?" And then I said, "This car isn't turbo'd. Do you guys even know what turbo is? Just becuz you guys throw on a blow off valve to make it sound turbo doesn't mean it's turbo'd." The dealer guy looked stunned. And then I said, "You guys think you can get away with that? You are charging people $5000 ($12000) more than the supposed dealer price for a 2.5RS with 110,000 mileage." The dealer guy just stood there looking AND feeling stupid.

the two that stick out in my mind are-

1.) When my parents were looking for a house on the St. Croix, the real estate lady who my parents were dealing with happened to be at the same gas station as I was a couple summers ago. She had no idea who i was, but to give you an idea of what kind of lady she is, she wears more rocks on her neck than what a crack pipe has in it on payday... needless to say, she was walking into the station and took a glance at my car, looked at me, and said "sexy car, makes me want to be young again", smiled at me, and walked inside...

2.) A very sexy young lady my age one summer helped me the first summer I had my car at a dairy queen drive thru. When I pulled up to the window, she asked me a few questions. "Wow, your car is shiny, where do you take it to be washed?" After telling her I do it myself, she said "well, I really like how clean you keep your car. It's so sexy", and she stared into my eyes. I obvioulsly wasn't interested in her as much as my cone so i politley said "thanks", and she then took the hint after confiding in a couple co-workers who graduated with me... She still made it a point to tell me that "i should keep my car clean, because it looks very sexy"
