Pass Safety Check without airbag? - 6G Celicas Forums

If i were to remove my stock wheel and airbag to opt for an aftermarket wheel, will i pass safety inspection in Massachusetts? I'm not sure if they are mandatory on cars that originally had them etc. etc. If not i might opt for an aftermarket wheel.

(i know its safer etc.. but just a thought)

if yoru car has them originally equipped..then NO u wont pass inspection....the VIN number tells all my friend....

fair enough, that solves my issue. looks like ill be keeping it for now!
