I'd like to lower my car.. almosr 2 or 3inchs. I have a 1994 celica.. What would i need to do thhis, and how hard would it be? How much would it cost if i had a shop do it? Thanks -cnelson.

At 3 inches of drop you would probably need airbags.

actually you can get 4 inches of drop with some coilovers; performance/price/confortability the best you can do is to get lowering springs which would drop you from ~1 inch to ~1.5 depending on the srpings you get

he ment airbag suspension kit. and to do the jod yourself is not hard but if you don't have much experience is good you have someone with some experience to guide you or have a shop do it for you.

if you want suspension put on and you want a good look for a decent price
a) TEIN s-techs are a good looking drop and ~$150 on ebay
b) intrax are ~1.75" drop but not soo common
or
c) TEIN SS coilover system ~$1300 (but i know someone who has them for sale used in good conditioin for less then a grand

BTW; how much did that front lip cost you, and how much to get put on?

the lip costed me 140 and installation + paint was free ( my cousin owns a body shop ) the lip is sold right now.

for the suspension a shop charge usually ~200-300 just for installation, you can find cheaper places, you can find more expensive places, this is just an average of what I've seen.

^EBAY but it was a regular ebay member so I don't know where he got it from. you can try to contact boostedgt he has nice good reputation on the site for nice fitment on his parts. I haven't try it mysefl but people here can provide you with feedbacks.

You could always get your hands dirty and do the suspension swap urself ..... i will never pay a shop to work on my car imo. Good luck with everything

save yourself a couple hundred bucks and do it yourself. if you don't have the tools or what-not, get a friend or a member from here to help you out. and teins are probably the best you can get for a decent price. dropzones are pretty decent too and a lil cheaper off ebay. but whatever you do, don't get those cheap 99 cent coilovers.
