I had that problem before and i found out that one of my shift cable was broken. You might want to check it out. Mine was only hanging by a coule of threads. It was 2, 4, and r like you said.

well im glad to see someone with actual knowledge tongue.gif yeah if it was just one gear i could see it being a syncro, but it was all 3 gears. on top of that they went out all at the same time.
to recap - its not slipping.
its just not engaging.
i've seen my fare share of problems and i well know what syncro's do when their all buggered, and on top of that what a clutch feels like when its slipping.
thanks for your input my2
its most likely a shift linkage took a dive.

shifter cables, or the arm on the tranny itself.
one of those 2 will be your problem.

pressure could be right too, their is a little plasitc piece that goes under one of the shifter arm that help it go up and down and side to side. I cant really describe it that well but you will notice why one arm is not moving. Your very welcome by the way. we're 6gc member and thats what we're all about.
