6th gen Insurance thoughts… - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #43444 2 posts Started by snapshotgt
I was wondering if anybody here has tried to get any of the insurance companies to evaluate and re-establish the value of your car based on what you’ve done to it, its condition etc. I’m wondering because I know many of us have put in a lot of money into our cars -- and in most cases more than the car is worth, creating mint condition Celica's that look new. The fact of the matter is our cars are not "worth" much to blue book standards, and if one were to get in a "fender bender", or "mild accident" the car would probably be "totaled" by our insurance company.

Just thought I’d put this out there and get your thoughts on it! smile.gif

Thanks-
Collin

You can insure a car for a value above book value by getting an appraisal acceptable to the insurance company. Contact your agent for exactly what they would need.
