okay so i got my new muffler installed and it sounded GREAT I LOVED IT! Then my mom said this, "if you come home one more time with that car that loud i am taking the keys from you until you have the money to get it fixed" LOL. Okay so I decided to put the silencer that came with the muffler on. WELL it wont come off now, and with the silencer on it just rattles around in there and makes it sound AWFUL. Like a lawnmower on steroids. So can anybody help out? any suggestions. We've tried everything from heating it up, to knocking it around with a hammer... NOTHING.

lol, your momma should hear my car. Header with strait pipe. It is what is actually loud. Just keep off the gas when you come home and leave, she'll never notice once it's out. To get it out, put some WD40 on it and/or some other form of rust remover. Then pull. If that doesn't work, get a new one. That's a cheap little ebay thing by the looks of it, so it won't be too much for a new one. And, if the silencer is stuck in it, chances are that the rust that is holding it in there is spreading and your going to need a new one soon anyway.
