I'm on the verge of replacing all four of my tires at the moment i still have my stock 15 rims. I was wanting to know what tire sizes i can put on them, i know the ones i have on there are like 205/55/r15.

I was told i might be able to put 195/55/15 from friends since it might be cheapier.

the 195/55/r15 is exactly what i have on my stock 15" rims, they fit and actually are lower profile than the original factory size, so in the end it looks a lil better too. Got mine off tirerack, and they are sumitomos. Great all season tires, great dry and wet traction and also good snow traction. Good luck with your tire choice.

I am thinking of getting Kumho since i can get all four (195/55/15) for around 250ish but the 205/55/15 are like 350ish expensive i tell ya

what kind of Kumho's? I had Kumho Ecsta 712's (205/40/17) and they were really sh!tty. I got bulges in the sidewalls twice and finally replaced them with Falken Zeix ZE-512 (215/45/17) which I also have on my stock wheels (195/60/15). the Falkens wear kind of quickly but I think they are great tires for $60/ea and have pretty tough sidewalls. but I hear good things about the Kumho ASX

You can also go for 215/50/15 - TireRack has BFGoodrich g-Force Sport for 75$ per piece.

Not sure what kind of Kumho to get. My friends told me to try them since my cooper tires suck in traction, Im really just trying to find a decent set of 4 with better traction during the rain as my current tires dont have any.

If anyone has any advise of tires let me know. I might also look at the 205/50/15 or something to that line.

I've had a few different tires on my car. Right now I have BF Goodwrech Traction T/A V spec. They are good for a year round tire. I've had the Falken Ziex tires, and they kick butt in the rain and dry. They suck in the snow/ice. They're good if you want a racy tire that wears out really fast. I've got the Traction T/A's because they don't wear out so fast. I'm trying to get some Falken Axeins for racing. I wouldn't run those for street use, but they rule on the track. As far as size, go with a 205/50r15 and you should be able to find something cheaper. That is a common size, more so than the 205/55r15. A 195/55r15 will not be any lower profile. 195mm wide and 107mm high compared to stock size of 205mm wide and 113 high. Get out a ruler and see how much 6mm is. I did run some 195/60's for winter tires once, they aren't that bad. Good luck finding something.
