GReddy TypeRS Blow-off - 6G Celicas Forums

Hi, i would want to know if someone knows if the blow off of the Greddy, model RS when it leaks produces also I hiss or not.

I suppose you could tie a balloon or a rubber glove over then end and see if it inflates under boost. or spray it with soapy water and look for bubbles.

what? i have one only answer, the TypeS Hiss sound are the same of sound of new TypeRS?

Are you asking if the sound of the TypeRS is the same as the TypeS? If so, it'll sound sooooo good.

No, he is asking if the >>GReddy Blow Off Valve>> makes a "hissing" noise when installed. The anwer is NO. It makes a "Pssshhhh-Kuh!" sound. If you want a "Swqooonzeen!!!" sound aka as the whistle/hissing sound, you'll have to go after the >>HKS Blow Off Valve>>.

Don't know. Both my friends with Hondas have GReddy BOV. Don't know which one but they don't make a hiss sound like that. Just makes a Pssshhhh and a loud KUUUHH at the end. One has a F22-T @9psi and the other has a GSR-T @10psi.

Greddy Type-RS sounds amazing,, i have one on my ST!!! its more of a fluttering sound. and yes its VERY LOUD even at low boost.
