I got to Best Buy at 2am to wait in line, and i was still like 150th person. But i got was i was going for, the 22 inch Westinghouse Lcd Monitor, for an amazing 200$. I had no clue it was gona be that bad, i got the last one and had to sneak around the areas were nobody was to the checkout before someone realized I had the last one.

Anybody else have any success stories?

Nope. I was trying for the xbox 360. Sucks, at least it didn't crash the site like Costco.com for the ps3.

i drove by the circuit city at 3am and saw 100 people, literally. i couldn't believe it.

i thought at MOST there would be 20-30 people. i just kept driving and came home, then wound up ordering the thing i was going for on their website, i dunno if it's a technical glitch but hopefully i'll get my HDTV for $500.. haha

Yea, some of the stores had the same sales online , but most of it was sold out very fast. Those Xbox 360s were gone in 2 seconds i heard.
Most of the people over here had been there since about 5pm on Wednesday.

my mom got me a leather jacket for 149.95. the original tag says 499.99 at perry ellis. now she wants to wrap it up and give it to me as christmas present not nice

The malls here opened at 12am. I really wasn't looking for anything in particular. And it wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be. Stores like Coach and BCBG Max Azria had waiting lines to get into the stores though.

i waited at best buy at 6 p.m. THURSDAY night, and was 10th in line, me and a couple friends were gettin the hp laptops for 379. but lets just say it not gonna happen again!!! 20 degree weather isnt nice to sit in!

danm haha i lived in san diego had to get in line at 1 pm at thanksgiving had to wait till 4 am my first black friday the line was like a mile long and there was a rush to get inside the store luckly i got the things i wanted two laptops one for 380 and one for 250 and a 20 printer all in all i would do it again next year

me and 2 friends sat there trying to just LOAD amazon or the product or ANYTHING
and from 2 till 2:15 it was down

at EXACTLY 2:15 is suddenly was back up and running FULL SPEED(FAST!) and they were all sold out...it was gay.

and the only deal i thought worth going out for was a $250 laptop at best buy that is normally ~400 online
