Hi

i am looking at buying boost, oil temperature and air/fuel ratio gauges but dont know the difference
between the mechanical gauges and electronic gauges.

ive read that the electronic gauges can have that memory play back where as the mechanical gauges cant.
But apart from that what are the best ones to get?
#What are more accurate/reliable? EDITED#

Thanks in advance

Get gauges from autometer. Them are the most reliable ones for how much they cost. But IMO the electrical gauges are better.
mechanical gauges are regarded as being more reliable but as you said feature wise the electronc gauges outway them,
gauges like the defi, or apexi el series have features like replay and peak hold, and some can even be daisy chained together.
i have had some blitz mechanical gauges in my car but now have the Apexi el series which a electronic, i have had no problems.
end of day choice is yours and how much you want to spend will decide the type of gauges you get....
heres a pic of my Apexi el2 electronic gauges to wet your appetite...
