Okay, so my mechanic said that I need to change my struts, so i figure I would just buy KYB gas struts and get lowering springs while i am at it. So i think people sell these in a pair, not sure if people sell shocks too in the pair.

So i am just looking for KYB GR-2 Struts and like tein s-techs or something. maybe 1.5 " drop

well if i was redoing my suspension i would sell you mine. but check out sportcompactonly.com thats where i got mine and i got the kyb-gr2 struts and eibauch 1" drop for mine and it wasnt too pricey

and depends on what you need, my strut mounts are fine so I haven't gotten any.

So, how do i know if i need new strut mounts? and I dun really understand what it means by front struts: Inserts Only? Does hat mean i gotta buy new housing too?

no, unless you have a GT with sport package, you have inserts on the front and struts on the back.
