i was just recently asked if i'd like to sell my car, so well i checked lot a site to see how much i could get for mine, decided that i prolly wont sell it for a while but to cut to the chase , i came across this celi --->click<--- and it's really "cheap" compared to a normal gt4, too bad it's rhd though frown.gif

i think this post could use one or two edits smile.gif, sort it out later

Lots of custom work is appreciated.. its just not my cup of tea.

For some reason the front view reminds me of the batmobile.

It looks agressive...but I dont know what to think of that widebody. Looks a little boxy to me.

kinda ugly....but finally a REAL widebody 6gc...besides that nasty spider one

u can read he details in english here, the car is in the uk and is being sold for £7495, which is dirt cheap for the body kit and all the other stuff thats on that car. it could easily fetch 10k but its in deperate need of some tidying up which the ad does not tell u, some guys from the gt4ec have been to check it over ad they weren't impressed, plus the fact the garage that are selling the car tend to have bad rep.

in the drop down boxes select toyota in the top and celica in the bottom then check the 1st car in the list..

nope i didn't but that ISN"T a widebody....wide body judgement is measuring from the fenders to the fenders...the width of that car did not change...HOW EVER if you look close enough you can see that all he did was move the line of the fender VERTICALLY up and changed the shape making it appear wider...while really not wider at all


the one posted here is a "true" widebody...that thai one is a "fake"...IMO

LOL, you need to get your eyes checked man. Look at the back view. Notice how far the fender sticks out from the tail light... also look at the front fenders. Notice how they are bulging out.

the buldging is from reshaping and pushing the lines UP...

if you look at the flat vertial lip which goes AROUND the wheel well on the fender its maybe 1/2" inch tall....look at the thai car's his is 2" about...
the concept isn't easy to explain and i've done so numerous times...the actual WIDTH of hte car didn't change..the fender shape and height DID...SOOOOO this gives a wider look without actually making the car wider

when i get time i'll PM you about it and show you wat i'm talking about picture wise....lets not hijack this thread

playr i think your wrong about that car not being a real whide body celica. that thing is atleast a few inches wider. check out how deep the wheels are and wide. yet they dont pop out of the rear fenders? come on.

You guys can argue about whether its a wide body or not but bottom line that car is one of the most badass celi's I've ever seen imo. biggrin.gif

I understand what playr is saying. It looks as if the front fenders have been PUSHED UP like he said. Although the rear fenders look to have some modification and appear to be "wide body" from the rear. that is just my opinion.

Notice the gap on the outside of the taillights, and the shape of the rear quarter panels:

Now, compare the front ends:

Conclusion:
Even if the fenders are just "pushed" up, the car is indeed wider. Also, there is a sharper angle going from the middle/back of the fender well, to the front of the door. Even if the fenders are pushed up, it is not a "fake" widebody. It is a custom set up, but is indeed wider. Calling it "fake" is ridiculous. It's really there, and it's really wider.

BTW, the GT-FOUR in the link is sex.
