After installing the rear springs for my st coupe today i was thinking that the rear strut bar may fit if i get rid of the carpet area on back my the rear brake light....any ideas?

not much of a point. you would need to take alot of stuff out. and the coupe is very rigid in the rear
That is what I thought...thank you very much

It won't fit. Not only would you have to remove the trim, there is a portion of the chassis that runs between the two struts in such a way as to obstruct a conventional bar that fits the hatch. If someone did manage to build a bar to suit the coupe, it wouldn't do much. J-Speed "triangle" style would give you some extra rigidity, but again won't fit without modification.

that's what a bar would do, so even in a remote case that you can fit one in, there is no need for it.
