I think someone tried to set up a group-buy with this guy about 2 years ago but he wasn't very willing to lower the price any.

I almost bought one once but said ahhh screw it
im tempted because i keep breaking the plastic part on my toyota key
Hey, I've got a set of those! One with a white emblem and one with a blue emblem. Had a local Toyota dealership cut them for me back when I bought my car. I still use the white one. The blue one is my spare.

I use the red one :-) I bought it off of ebay, good key.
I agree. They've been pretty decent keys. I think I bought mine for maybe $15 + $9 shipping. $20 for one seems a little expensive, that is unless you REALLY gotta have em.

Those are only 9 arnt they?
EDIT: Just saw the shipping. Thats way too much for shipping.

I'm really tempted to buy one since my current key is FUBAR. They also have TRD versions too:

The trds look pretty cool. $20 shipped is still alot for one key. Anyone know how much it costs to buy a toyota brand key from a dealership?
Hey I wonder if Vincentdoggy can get these for us? He has sourced a few parts for me before, and is very easy to deal with. I guess I'll pm him and see what he has to say, cause I would like one for each of my Toys.
Ok I pm'd him.
TheRockman, i don't know how much an actual "toyota" key is, but i had a generic (ilco brand) spare cut AT THE DEALERSHIP for $6.50....i'm sure you could even get one cheaper at a hardware store.
do you know who i am, mr. worley?
Ok, talked to Vincent doggy and he said he will look for these for us and get back to me when he finds something.
Yeah I think that's what I paid for my spare at the dealership. They said they could order a toyota brand key with my locks keycode, but I forgot how much they said it would cost. Let's hope less than $20, but who knows it being a dealership.

I almost bought one from ebay but then I saw the total price and changed my mind. 20 bucks is wayyyy too much for a key.
ive seen and held the TRD version.

6 50 for a spare? i got one for 1 50 at walmart just wasnt toyota branded but still works fine
>
I probably could have done that, except I was locked out of my car...in a snow storm...and I doubt Wal-Mart woud have been able to cut a key for me if I gave them my VIN number. That's how it became my spare.

the whole, key looks like a butterfly knife (believe thats the name, im not up on my weapons) reminds me of the dane cook skit about killing someone with the knife from "clue".
"id love to kill someone with the knife from clue....but could u imagine that? how long it would take...like seriously ud be there...
::insert stabing motion::
"die...die!!!! ughhhhhh!"
guy being stabed: "dude, what are u doing?"
::still stabing....::
"ugh!!!! die!!!!::
::stabing finally stops::
"it (the knife) would be so easy to hide, all ud have to do is put it in the envelope and slide it away. And then if somebody found it theyd be like ["oh we found the knife"] then id be like, ["ah. but what room?]"
lol i love it
