I picked a pair up - when i put them on i'll let you guys know. Downsides: they're Manual - so bye bye electric mirrors. I figure, how often do i move mine ne ways? But i guess the coolness factor overrides the convenience factor. Another downside for me, i dotn want blue LED's i want amber, so we'll see how durable these are.

i got a set too... you can probably crack it open and put amber LEDs in there easy enough, that's what i'm planning on doing. i imagine it's just a 194 LED bulb in there.

I was thinking of getting a set of these mirrors as well. I agree with sprint that unless you're trying to check a hot girl you just passed, there isn't any reason to be adjusting your mirrors so often. I talked to the distributor and asked about the LED problem and this is what he wrote:

Light up by some kind of wire? uh...what?! That doesnt make ne sense. WHen i get them, which should be soon, i'll probably take them apart and see whats goin on.

Sorry to bring this back up, but has anyone received these yet? If so it'd be great if they could show some pictures about how they look.
I am also wondering about this. My passenger side mirror is fried and I don't even care about power mirrors. I don't know if the will look right though because I bout a pair just like these for my previous car which was a toyota paseo and it didn't look good. Why you may ask?.... Because of the gap between the door and the actual mirror, they ended up looking like two big bubbles sticking out from my car.
What I think he means by it being lit up by a wire is that it's actually a circuit/strip of small LED's that are soldered to the circuit itself. You'd have to cut them off and solder new ones on to change the color. My friend has them in blue, their not the larger LED's you can change.
So it is still possible to change the lights, right? BC I would need them in yellow. How difficult would that change be? Oh and anyone who has pics of them installed on our cars, post them up por favor.

Alright, there are currently three sets of these mirrors on ebay, one of which comes with amber lights to begin with. As an added bonus that set is selling for $35!
I ordered some of the M3 mirrors from that guy(Aimspot2002) and today i recieved them and they where actually made for a 99-00 Civic. Im pretty pissed about it. I e-mailed the guy back to find out what the deal is, he hasnt got back to me yet. Hopefully they just sent me the wrong ones. Ill let you guys know what he sais.

I'm rather interested in this as its either me buying these for 50...or having to pay twice as much to buy them from k2.
i just got a set off of ebay for $50 plus shipping. The box it came in said it was for a civic but i tried to install it any way. didnt fit at all....so i called up the company and talked to them. the mirrors are universal but have different moldings for it to fit your car. The molding still doesnt fit the celi, they said they just sent me the wrong one but i gotta give them a call back today. will let you guys know how it turns out and will take a few pics when they're on!
yeah they look really cool to me. I'm torn b/w the blue or the amber... I heard that the blue ones are illegal b/c cops use blue... does anyone know if that is true?
Are they on all the time? I don't think it should be a problem if the m3's have them on stock.
Any updates on these mirrors? I'm thinking about getting them but not if they are scams, trying to pawn off civic lights.

no good guys....well at least the ones from aimsport2000 or whoever. im sending mine back for a full refund. the guy told me some bs story but i dont think he knew what he was talking about. THis really sucks tho cause i think they'd look hot as hell on our celis! if anyone else can find some that def fit let me know!
