When you use coilovers they act as struts right?

Only if you get a full coilover system. Full coilovers are like TEIN SS, D2 coilovers and the like. Coilovers like Ground Control are just a threaded perch and spring and you would need to use your stock ones, or, as most would suggest, buy new struts and shocks like KYB GR2's.

ok well i just purchased coilovers from a member here, but iam confused how they fit with kybs?

typical coilovers slide over the strut casing and sit on the perch. Coilovers act as the spring... in fact, they are springs.
