When turning left my car makes noises - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #4150 8 posts Started by TiG4
Ok so when i turn my wheel left and i am driving (like going around a corner or something) it makes like a really light hissing sound, and especially when i go up ramps like in a parking garage or something? I thought it might be my power steering or something, but what can i do about it? My steering is all fine and everything. Can anyone help?
What size tires are you running? They could be rubbing the plastic in the wheel well(this could also happen if the plastic is broken and hanging there).
Other than that I wouldn't have a clue?
just don't turn left...
possibly your brakes

this happened to me once.

hey YEP...that was your first post. mark that one in the yearbook.

Do you find it difficult to steer when you turn left? If so, it may be a problem with your power steering (due to bad valves in the steering rack).

I had this happen before and it was due to the power steering system loosing pressure.
Did you check the power steering fluid level?
