Man i bought a set of rims on ebay that were supposed to be 5x100 but they turned out being 5x114.3.
the weird thing is that the back of the rim is stamped on the back as 5x100 but the sticker on the inside of the rim says 5x114.3 i guess the guy went by what was stamped on the rims and not what was on the sticker. Do i have any options at this point? i really dont want to sell these things. ive seen the adaptors on ebay but they are a little thick. Can i get my hubs redrilled to 5x114.3 man this is annoying i dont want to sell them. give me a hand... thanks!!!

you're pretty much boned, those adaptors throw off the offset and can damage and cause accellerated wear on wheel bearings and suspension parts.

hmm weird. Adapters will probably cost you as much as the wheels....200$ or so Depending on the offset of the wheels though a 25mm spacer/adapter might make them look better on the car. They are probably a 17x7 +40 offset right? If you wanna go that route it would work..otherwise sell them and buy other set.

no they cant, you would need to find a vehicle that utilizes 114.3 lug pattern with the same spline design as your current vehicle... if you are interested in going this route, check the mk2 MR2s, i donno if the spline is the same size... BTW, you will want REAR mr2 hubs for the front

Why not tell the buyer that he didn't send the item as described and make him send 5x100s? Why not do it right? Instead of getting adapters and stuff....
