Can fit gearbox of 3SGE on 3SGTE? - 6G Celicas Forums

I'm looking for a short drive for my Celica 3SGE but I can't find anything.

Do you know if I can fit a the gearbox of a 3SGTE (for example from a ST205 Celica GT Four) on my car?

I've found short final drive for that box

It would fit because the engine blcok is the same. I have the 3S-GTE engine on my 3S-GE tranny.

Only problem is you need to make it 2WD using MR2 tranny parts.
JDM Powerplant installed, BPU coming very soon!

you don't want to use the tranny from a GT4, you want to use the tranny from an MR2 or solara
any non 4wd E153 tranny will work
