I'm currently not a 6gen owner, but soon to be when I get back from deployment. Well my question is can parts from a st202 fit a st204? I know they have different engine, but I read about head swaps and stuff. I'm asking because is was surfin and notice headers and exhaust systems for st202 3s-ge. Can they be used? thanks everybody. yup exhaust manifolds can be swapped

ST202 manifold on a US 5SFE - no.
ST182 - yes (if you can find one).

I sold a ST202 3SGE manifold to Bigmeanbulldog55 and it didn't work for his 5SFE. It makes sense now - the 3rd gen 3S manifolds have a different bolt pattern then the 2nd gen's - not interchangable.

And since the 2nd gen 3SGTE manifolds bolt up to the 5SFE......

I was thinking of building up the 5sfe, but I've read from numerours people theres no point. Then I also heard of swapping heads, but also heard that there was no point in that because you have to rebuilt the block to keep up with the 3s heads also you would have to use 3s ecu. So woul it be just easier to buy a st202 from clip and swap?
