Picked up my paint yesterday. all in all, 600 dollars worth of paint and clear coat. Its bright sonic blue with HEAVY metal flake.



i also bought a VIS carbon fiber hood, and am getting vader skirts and rear bumper.

oh ya, and a new convertible top.

I'm also wondering if you're painting it yourself. That's a pretty cool color.

Also, did you cut your front fenders, or is the bumper just laid on top of them?

No, a collision shop will be painting it so that it can be baked. My fenders arent cut, the bumper just lays over them and then bolts up inside the inner wheel well. BUT, im thinking about redoing it and chopping the fenders up because it leaves a small gap between the front end and fender.

I know this is one of my old posts but i just figured i would throw out an update and let everyone know that my VIS Zyclone Carbon Fiber hood also came in yesterday along with my new rag top. As soon as the rest of the body kit gets here, im headin in for the paint (yes madmods, that same color ) and then ill post pics of my pride and joy.
