I was jez wondering...
When u try to remove them (well mainly the middle 1), it's kinda stuck...as if u cannot just pull them off. It's not the needle or ne thing...but i'm wondering is there a way u can just take'em off? Is it screwed down or glued together by what's underneath it?
What exactly are you trying to remove, and what for?
If it helps, there are little caps in the center of the gauges on top of the needles that have to come off in order to install or remove indiglo gauges. You have to be careful not to remove your needles though.
New Toyota project coming soon...
hehe i know that 1~ because i put on my reverse gagues...but of course u know how they annoingly sitcky with the needle...so basically I wanted to remove the stock gagues out the way so it wont get stuck since there will be nothing behind it. I'm just tired of using double-stick tape all the tym hehe.
The stock gauge faces arent held on by too much, but it would be really tough to not totally wreck them in the process of removal bacause they wouldnt just slide on or off like aftermarket indiglo faces. I would say to just leave the stock ones on, and put the new ones over them, this way.....a.) you still have the stock gauges there if you ever wanna take the indiglos off, possibly when you sell it, or b.) so you dont mutilate the stock ones in the process, beucase im pretty sure that even though they feel like theyre loose, and even with the needle covers off, you would have to almost cut them off......so leave the stock ones, then just put the new ones over the stock ones with really thin 3M double sided tape, and play it safe.
