So today i was driving and I see a PHAT yellow 6th gen rolling the opposite direction and i look over and i do the "whats up" head nod and the guy nods his head up and down as to say PROPS! and then i was like DUDE I HAVE TO MEET THIS GUY so I whip a U-ey and proceed to follow him. I was behind him 5 cars and I was like hmm..i cant see him damn then i looked to the right and he had turned off and parked (waiting for me) and i was going too fast to turn so i turned my wheel as quickly as i could and i started skidding (it looked good though) then i met up with him and he turns out to be the nicest guy ive ever met and I told him about the site and he said he'd check it out and he was giving me hella props on my car even though all i have is the hood and bumper and exhaust and im sitting there going "YOU LIKE ME CAR??!! I LOVE YOURS"

ha well either way this just goes to show that us 6th gen owners always have love for eachother unlike some other owners of different makes (COUGH HONDA COUGH)

Yea every time I pull up to a light next to another 6th gen, we always roll down the windows to talk at the same time!!

When I was first looking for a 6th gen (which was the hardest thing ever because understandably nobody wants to sell them) I was on the freeway and I followed a guy off the exit and into a gas station and he didn't think I was nuts, he told me where he got his car, let me sit in it, and took my number if he was ever gonna sell it.

Oh sorry, and yeah, celica owners are pretty nice for the most part. Unlike a lot of honda owners around here, they are always dissing each others car in class and **** and I'm just like "Shut the **** up, your hondas are all rice anyways, a celica would steam those hotwheels. This is college for christ sake, shaddup" and then they decide to yell somemore at each other, its a never ending process....Celica = Unity, Honda = Hotwheel F@gg0rts

hehe the guy i met today asked for my number! i dont think its like that though! were the only 2 that actually have nice 6th gen in the area so were just gonna kick it sometime. He actually may go to oregon with me next week for that car show. TOO BAD THE WEST COAST CELICA MEET ISNT GOING DOWN NOW!

Theres one hot chick in my town whose got one. Shes a real heartbreaker though, and drives like a maniac. Its fun to race her cause we got the same car. I'm gunna try to get her to check out this site.

Yesterday, I was pulling out of BK and I see this blue, 6th gen pulling in, we both slow down and instinctively I go "nice car". The guy was old though with a kid in the front and a kid in the back, it was sad bc I don't think he has a clue why his car is nice. I got a definite "oh, its just a regular car" vibe from him and its unfortunate when peops don't appreciate such a nice ride.

All the Celicas I have been seeing around me have middle aged women driving them, the fuq!

ya, the only cool sixth gen owners around my area that ive met are mark and mike. Scott seems really cool too, just ive havent met him yet. the rest could care less what they are driving, they just put gas in it and dont think twice...

Hey K2 I care!! hehe >> I hardly see any 6th Gens where I live, well actually just Rlan or my friend "B". Other than that...I see a few...but like Milds3vn said....it's all middle age women that I've seen also. When I first joined these sites I tried to keep a look out for you K2 and Gatar11 (Mike).

Oh and aside from the unmaintained ones too.....sad sight to see when there's a Celi all busted up or rusted. >>

haha cool story, lucky guy, I have yet to meet any 6th gen girls that are into it, the ones that i meet are like..eh..its a car..im like ahhh... but my car did me stalked by a guy one night..(not the best thing that could happen), but it was all good. we talked and what not, he drove a 6th gen..and said that he posted on here, but im not sure of the user name. -Luke

I've seen lots of 6th gens, but never any one that had mods done to them. So I never said anything, I can't wait until I see someone with a 6th gen and some mods.

celi owners are very nice. regardless of whether they souped up their cars or not. they know we are a strange race and always gimme the thumbs up. of course i always return the favor wif a nod and thumbs up.

Yeah the vast majority of 6gens around here are owned by older peeps - should start to change now the price is going down though.

the only 6th gen celica I've seen that was modded in any way was parked by a bar, full veilside kit and nice wheels, stood around for a while but no one showed >>

Ok nevermind this guy sucks. So we had plans to go see 2f2f on friday but he called at 9 and was like dude im just way too tired and i was like you suck and hes *like "we can see it tomorrow when i get off work. so dont see it with anyone else cuz i want to see it with you" and im like ok
so then saturday rolls around and he works two jobs so i figured i wouldnt hear from him later. 8:30 rolls around I call and im like "hey its Natalie" then i hear a OH and someone hangs up. This didnt sound like him then I call back and im like "hey its Natalie. Is brett there?" and soem guy who doesnt sound like Brett is like theres no brett here im sorry you have the wrong number (but he was rude about it). and i replied "I know how to dial a number so i know this is his phone" and the guy is like "theres no brett i dont know what youre talking about" and im like "if he doesnt wanna go tonight thats cool cuz i have other plans" then the guy says "you have the wrong number"


THIS MAKES NO SENSE! RIGHT NUMBER CUZ LATER AT 3am I CALLED AND HIS VOICEMAIL SAYS YOUVE REACHED BRETT! Im not sure if maybe it was his friends just taking his phone while he was at work or what cuz he was all like "We need to cruise are celicas together" blah blah blah

haha but thats ok i had fun last night! I went out to see 2f2f FINALLY with my girl Alycia then went partying with some guy till 4am. and i got up at 7am today to go to work!

There aren't too many up here in Toronto (because of the large Honda-fan-boys keep the CPI index high (Civic/Prelude/Integra))

But I've met a pair of hottie girls on the highway one night.. I zoomed by them.. they sped up.. heheh. was funny..

Met some old business exec guy who has a few sweet rides, but enjoys his 6G GT the most..

So it's interesting.

I love pulling into Honda-Fan-Boy hang outs and with another friend in a Toyota be it Corolla GT-S/MR2/Supra or Celica.. and just getting cut-eye:)

Any time I see a supra when Im in my celi (being jealous) the supra owners are really cool too. I was at a red light on Friday and two hotttt guys in a white 97 supra TT pulled up and started chatting me up. They're like "wanna run?" hahhahhahaha... sure in my ST that does 0-60 by the time you're done with the quarter mile!
