bad news guys....i dont know if ill be at the meet anymore.. my celica blew its head gasket and i gotta get it trailered home now.

that sucks, well hopefully u can get it fixed before then.

i can still get those 2 liters for real cheap, i may just bring a sprite with, but the only cooler we have is too large for my car. so...i'll bring cups and if someone closer brings ice then thats all set.

if we're still gonna BBQ i'll bring with some buns and good Italian Sausage, some brats, diced onion, mustard. what else do people want to eat?

my gf wants to bring cookies lol. how cheap would the 2 liters be?

i'm in for coming, and maybe the GF will come too. if not a got a couple of guys i'm sure would want to come. if anyone is interested, i can bring a bunch of deer burger for the BBQ, it delicious. i have it at all my bonfires and tailgates. lemme know a day or two early on how much is wanted. also, what time would people be getting there??

ok guys here is what i was planning on doing.. i was thinking of meeting up there inbetween 11-1130. Fanboy and myself are talking of getting there early so we can claim a picnic area. In regards to the food, My dad owns a restraunt so i can get burgers and dogs for pretty cheap through his suppliers. So i was thinking of bringing a case of burgers (25) and a bag of hot dogs (i think theres 25). I can also get buns for fairly cheap too. But we all need to come to an agreement on what were all bringing so that we wont have a huge amount of food leftover.

Bitter- if you could bring some 2 liters of all assortments, ill have a cooler from the burgers and dogs and we could always run into a gas station and pick some ice up. If you can handle bringing the soda that would be awesome!

Also somethings we need to think about bringing are chips, plates and napkins, cups, buns?, anything else?...so heres a list. If you are coming to this meet copy the list and post your name,how many people are coming with you and what you are going to bring/can bring. I think this is the only way that we are all going to know what is going to be going on and get a count of how many people to expect. thanks everyone!

Not sure yet. Not really feeling it to be honest...I'm like almost completly stock compared to you guys...ehhh... what the heck, i'll go. I'll go as "site seeing".
I'll know for sure once it gets closer.

im bringing myself and my girlfriend, 2 liters of sprite (i can get coke if its wanted, but i dont drink cola), italian sausages, some bratwurst, some condiments. if anyone wants to buy a generic ricer muffler ive been sitting on one for a while now, i'll let it got for $25 at the meet. its stainless oval with a 2.5" inlet. i dont mind taking some food or drink back home with me.

shigexile- don't worry about being stock, all i have is a magnaflow muffler i welded on, a headunit and sub box i just finished, and some painted stuff in the engine compartment. so i'm no where close to some of these other guys either, but that's why i want to go, i want to see their rides.

this is the first illinois meet in a very long time. I still dont know if Yota is thinking of coming. If he still wants to and he doesnt have is celica fixed i might drive up and pick him up. So well see..

sometimes smallish meets are better. too many people can cause problems, it only takes one tard to ruin a good meet.

it will be awesome regardless... oh yea and the meet is going on rain or shine!!! regardless we are meeting!!!

I am still planning on coming, however, my car isn't running right and i need to find out why. i hope to have it figured out in time for the meet, i would like to meet other 6gcers cause there's not alot in my area. my g/f has to work so it would be just me and i could bring some chips and some other snacks.

beastman, i wont have the celica with me at all. its already back at home in storage until i can get it to my shop for the motor swap. I wont know until this weekend whether I will be able to go to the meet or not because if my car goes into the shop this weekend (like im told its scheduled for), I will be back every weekend working on the motor.
