Well, ever since I bought my car, I wanted to get it painted b/c there were portions of oxidation. I just recently had enough money and took it to Earl Schieb after hearing good reviews from other 6gc members on Monday. Well, I just got it back today and it looks pretty nice. (Dark Metallic Grey) The only thing that went wrong was they ripped and killed my tint. I am taking it back to the shop tomorrow. I will post pics tomorrow when I get home. Oh yeah, and I just bought wheels!!! Very sweet huh. Show yall tomorrow.

Sorry, I still didn't get home yet, its 5:45 in the morning right now and i expect to get home from school round 2 PM. So about 8 hours of anticipation left. . . but my bro is great at taking pics so i'm sure they will turn out nice.

Paint cost me 5 bills w/ the coupon on the website. Good business man down there got me to spend more than I wanted too!! I tell you those sneaky guys.

I wish the Earl Schieb was good.. I had my 93 Camry painted midnigh blue.. 800 bucks, 6 months later the old color started showing and they tell me its my fault..

I hope that doesnt end up with your car

sorry guys, thought i would get pics up by tonight... However! after hours of work, the lugs my rims came with don't fit. Therefore, I must go tomorrow and buy new lugs and then put them on. I was so excited, i was like yay! finally get my rims on and show them off to the 6gc community. And my bro didn't want to take pics of my painted car b/c he said it was to stock looking and I should wait to put my wheels on. Sorry guys...

i think there should be a new rule that you dont start big topics like this without pics, and then your also not allowed to keep making lame excuses. it takes all of 5 seconds to take some pics, and we really really wanna see em!

OMFG. . . Lame excuses... I think there should be a rule to STFU if ya don't have something nice to say? I did put numerous sorries in there about not posting pics and I will try get em up asap... But yah watever.

such hostility. So are you happy with the Earl Schieb paint job? Look under your liscense plate, did they paint that spot? After doing some body work on my car, i came to realize that it seems all they did was clean it and throw a couple layers of paint on there. Im hoping it was just the shop i went to, but it has a 3 year warranty, so we'll see what happens. Im planning on repainting mine to a dark metallic grey also, so im excited to see your car. sorry if my post came out as bashing or rude, i was just making a joke!

Well, after a hard days work, and having Earl Scheib give me the run around about retinting my car, it seemed hostile and rude. It's all cool if it was a joke. Don't get me wrong, I really want to put pics up, but its hard when you don't have a digi cam and all ya got is a phone or a disposable cam. The lugs I have don't fit and its really hard to find ones that do. I am all but hostile trust me. I really hope to get pics up ASAP, but I do work 7 days a week and have Summer School too. I will put pics as soon as I can... really.

No, I didn't check under the license plate, im guessing they didn't spray there. Did it come out okay? Sorta. They messed up my 2 front window tint and didn't even tell me. I had to go down, almost fight with the assistant manager and all they tell me is bring it in on monday and talk to the manager. So we will see. Laters

One thing you guys cant expect is a perfect jod for a 1/4 the cost. How did it run anyways? Im concidering just getting a half ass paint job, cause i no konger have time myself and am getting sick of the primer.

It ending up costing 500 which isn't too bad, although i did do a lot of body work myself like sanding and stuff! I do get brand new tint for free cuz they ripped mine! So im finding the most expensive place in the islands. I'm going to Euro Sport today to buy lugs and hopefully when i get home from work, i can put on my rims and show yall the good news! Till then

This is what it looked like when i first got the car...



Then, i changed the trunk, so imagine that red. Then i sanded and spray painted all the sanded spots on my car. It looked like a cheetah. Sorry no pics of those though. But just imagine it.

Now, I just mounted my rims tonight and heres what i got. I'll take more pictures later but enjoy!

That price is not bad considering it has tires but a good price many members do is 100 for 4 wheels, and lucky if they come with tires.

Not bad when you spoil the celi a lil bit, I bet you are like, damn thats a big difference!
