Private Calls - 6G Celicas Forums

Long story short, a friend of my ex, I think.. keeps calling me and harassing me. Telling me things to upset me, etc.

Anyway. He blocks his number, so each time he calls it shows up as Private.

Is there anyway to get the number anyway to find out who is calling?

Call the phone company and they should be able to tell you the last few calls, if not most have the option of blocking private-unlisted calls.



I had my number changed due to my wife's Ex-finace being one hell of a asshole. If I ever get my hands on him........

In Canada I believe u dial *69 after they call .. it might be different in the states.

Found this when i did a quick search on *69

K, I called Cingular and they were unable to help me. frown.gif

And *69 didn't work. Sigh, this is getting ridiculous. I just got an email from this kid. From an "anonymous" emailing site too. I'm checking into that now.

Changing your number is pretty easy with cell phone companys... just call them and change your number.

I've had this number my whole.. cell-phone.. life. All 4 years. Lol. If that makes sense. That would be such a pain in the ass for everyone who needs to get in touch with me. frown.gif But unfortunately that may be the only option. But now he's emailing me. This is so stupid. Should I contact the police? Or is it not needed because he's not threatening? I don't know.

He is saying that I should overdose and burn in hell though. Threat?

Pay no mind to it, change your number, and delete the e-mails.

Emails are easy to block.

don't just delete the emails, try to block them. That way when he tries to email again you'll never get it smile.gif

whats his email? Well get the whole 6gc to forward all our junkmail

it changes each time.. I blocked email from that domain name. I'm about to call the police.

Talk about no life and psycho-ness.

Jen, do what my ex did. She called the service provider up. She reported that she repeated got harassed and they told her that they would get the number and report it to the cops. Turned out that it was my cousin who kept harassing her becuz he liked her alot and got upset that she went with me instead of him. Hahahaha. biggrin.gif

What email address site do you use? Cause you could filter the email address out by the site name. Cause who would use that email address unless some jerk (don't answer that -_- )

Well Cingular is being very cooperative, and I've called the police to report the harassment. I should be hearing back from them shortly.

So im guessing it would do no good to talk to ur ex about it...? Depending on what type of guy he is maybe u could talk to him & ask him to make his friend STOP. Unless of course your ex is the one doing all of this...

Hahaha! NOT my crew and I didn't make it up. Florida has alot of Viets and they are made up of 3 groups. FoBs aren't official but more of category meaning they came from viet cong overseas. Now, dont be diss'n when you dont know.

well you could always set your phone to only accept incoming calls from your phonebook.

stay on this arsewipe with the proper authorities assisting you. AFAIK harassement is illegal in any civilized society. log all the calls and e-mails. treat this like any other bullying. it saddens me to think that some guys go through life acting like children on a playground.

im not dissin' anyone.. I was reffering to your meaning for FoB.. for me FoB has always ment Fresh of the Boat meaning they came from overseas..

Anymore calls??

Ive changed my number for my cella bout 7 times since i had my cell phone (going on about 7 years now) I change it anytime someone starts harassing me cuz I hate that crap. Plus its nice to change the number and start fresh on who knows how to get a hold of u!
Cruisin down the street in my Infiniti...always lookin for my next trip to Sin City

umm cant you get the ISP address off of the email and go through them to find out who it was?

The email was sent from an anonymous emailing site. So that kind of stuff is blocked, but I'll look into it.
As far as the phone calls, I have not gotten anymore. I did call the police yesterday, and did not back from them.
I called today because I was getting impatient, and they took my name and number... AGAIN for them to call me back.

But I'll be happy as long as the harassment stops.
