one of my headlights failed inspection? - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #39312 12 posts Started by brianforster
he said i need a new housing or lense or something i cant remember and that it needs to be put on a machine and aimed because my current one is not putting out enough light?

i think this is total bull ****, i hate inspection here..

anyone ever heard of this? i mean he said the headlight was clouded but its not clouded at all it looks just like the rest of them..
Sorry to hear that man. But hearing everyone on here talking about failing inspection makes me very happy that we don't have a such thing as a vehical inspection. But maybe just get new & brighter bulbs.
If it's at all cloudy/hazy you could buff the glass probably.

New Toyota project coming soon...
thats the thing it looks the same as the rest of the lights, he said its the housing, im gonna make them show me wtf is wrong with it tomorrow
i wonder how they would calculate something like that? sounds like a whole lot of BS to me

15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
i do too im going to make sure they show it to me tomorrow
I don't know if they do but, they may be using a light mette, it reads the light intensity in candles kindasad.gif if they tell you something like this ask them what is the minimiun reading that you can have on each one ( lows and highs )

change your bulb! It might be worn

rayme's right, incadecent lights get dimmer and yellower (new word) as they get older.

change both at the same time so you don't have the weird two tone headlight effect
