for directions, type in 1060 hope st., Bristol, RI into mapquest. there is no address # for colt state park, you'll see two huge bull statues at the entrance tho, its VERY hard to miss...

This is going to be the perfect place to end this year. If you're not planning on coming, I think you should reconsider. You'll have an awesome time, and meet a ton of really great people.

its 9.4 miles from bristol. its the motel 6, the one in newport u couldnt book online, and the quality in is like 140$ and they only have one bed rooms. motel6 cost me 60$.

I'll have to see what I can do guys. I'm playing out that Saturday evening late but perhaps I can make Sunday?? I'd have to leave crack of dawn to make sure the the 5 hour drive is worth it. Money will play a big part in the decision too, I've been in a tough financial position lately

BTW, my car is running amazing.....last meet here in Jersey I had an afwul clutch, poor throttle response, and my e-brake needed to be adjusted. Since then I replaced the clutch myself, removed the throttle body and cleaned it out a great deal, lubricated it and adjusted the throttle cable, and readjusted the e-brake cable with intentions of installing new pads eventually. wink.gif


I'll keep you guys posted, I just haven't been around lately and figured I'd fill everyone in as to whats new.

Well I am bringing both my girls (car and GF) and my friend who lives in Bristol for Sat, not sure will be there for sunday, but I will be there for Saturday. Also to note I will only give so many rides, first come first serve.

well after the "meet and greet," the "hosts" or people that know the area talk, and decide on a cruise/events/where to head to/what to do. Trust me. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. Dont worry so much.

I guarntee ull have a blast

its never a set in stone thing...the past few meets, we normally hang out for a few hrs, bullcrap a while, cook some food on the grill ect...then later we go for a cruise, and usually end up @ Dave & Busters in providence...never know tho,..plans change, we're always up for new ideas!

in the spirit of "new ideas welcome" im thinking maybe, (if everyone is of age) maybe some SICK go karting. like the ones that do 60mph+. Could be a good time. (if u have those in the area, age limit on some are 18+)

we have F1 boston about 40-45 min from me, migga.
i have a buddy who i work with who goes almost every weekend, his AVERAGE lap speed is 55mph+ smile.gif
sunday would be a good day for it..

yeah its dollar a lap. well, not really. 20 bucks a race and a race is 20 laps. and a lap should be around 30 secs if your a good driver. been there once was a blast.
