Rim Selection - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #39160 27 posts Started by yyet
Well, i have been looking for rims for a while and can't really find one in my price range or one that I like, so i need some opinions. Normally, i've been liking 5 spoke rims but now i am expanding my rim selection. What do you guys think of this one.

IDK exactly why, but I don't like those. but maybe it's just me and I don't even know why. kindasad.gif
They remind me of eclipse wheels. Can't say they're my piece of cake, but it is your car, so that's just my .02.
not feelin 'em thier just too "shiny"
that design is gonna make the rim look smaller than it actually is i think .

picking out rims is tough. No one can be satisfied with just one set, you will always think of how your car would look with different wheels.
i must admit i dont liek them either.. i dont think it would suit the celica. keep looking... -R

There was one set that I coulda got for 600 with tires, 17's, however, i got home late from work at it was already sold by then in like 2 hours. Heres a pic of those and you guys can sigh with me.

Thanks... good links. My budget aint to bad, but you figure, I live in Hawaii which makes shipping KILLER!!! and that means less to spend on rims. So thats the only problem, and the shops down here killer mark up, its ridiculous. So thats why i'm trying to get them off the hawaii forum and classifieds.

You should try living in Croatia... laugh.gif
Let´s just say it like this (in numbers per example smile.gif )...my rims were ordered in Croatia from the US, and bought for the price of merely 250 Euros (That is about 350 US$) a piece (ofcourse, the tires are a bit excluded from this amount, and without going into details, let me just say that the price of tires more or less equals the price of the rims laugh.gif ), whilst a month´s worth paycheck equals about 500 Euros (or about 700 US$), with which everything has to be settled...bills, food, apt, gas, etc...
Oh yeah---a full tank of gas over here costs about 60 Euros (or about 80 US$), so without at least two jobs, cruising is NOT an option!

Believe me, Hawaii shopping for rims and tires sounds like a good deal to me! Actually, sounds like paradise! smile.gif

Well, I live in Kunia, but i go to school at UH, and I normally am in Waipio. My car is silver, with a white hood, but its soon going to be white. I am going to paint it either this weekend or next. Speaking of that, who drives the GT-4 replica. Its silver and I saw em at UH the other day. It was pretty mean.
