Negative camber - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #39121 12 posts Started by soulshadow
I've lowered my car, got wheel alingments, but unfortunatley all my tires are facing negative chamber. Is there a way that I can fix this, because if I can't then Im gonna have to put the stock springs back on.

Its better to save $400 Vs. the drop Look when it comes to new tires.
Now here is the question, how/ where do i place these?

AHH! Its the strut-to-Knuckle bolts then, otherwise its probbaly the bolt that holds the control arm in place for the lowering ball joint. I'll just have to do more research.
theres a post by jaws4god, i cant find (actually just way lazy to look), he has a picture asking where it goes.....the thread might help. (its fairly recent)

you actually replace the top bolt not the bottom, and i forget which way you put it in (one side makes it positive, other way makes it negative) and yes strut to knuckle, you should always ask the suspension king first...also you can pick up some crash bolts which is the same thing at a local dealership for 3-6 bux each, you only need 2 for the fronts

Perhaps my Toyota Dealership is an idiot, or something cause I called them and they have no idea what the heck a Crash bolt was. Does it have another name?

reminds me of a story.

iluvmycelica95 went to the toyota dealer for parts, the parts guy was like, "nice supra"

she then felt the need to call me and laugh her ass off right infront of the guy......i woulda killed her if i was that guy....any way moving on.

call them up and give them this part number:
"the part number is 90105-15011. This is the one with three dots, it allows for the most amount of camber adjustment. I think the other two part numbers are 90105-15010 and 90105-15012"
