Corolla headers - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #39039 11 posts Started by tonytutino
i have the 1.8 engine and i know the 94ish corollas are the same, i think i read they fit but you have to have them weld an additional piece or something... if anyone knows anything, can i get some more details on that, like price maybe and what not. thank ya :-p

the corolla "header" is the same for the 1.8L 7AFE and the extra piece that has to be added is a section between the flexpipe and catalytic converter i think its close to 3-4" and should barely cost anything at a muffler shop to have them cut/weld it up for you

i believe obx makes one as well as pacesetter but they are a little pricey
the pacesetter comes with an option to get an Armor*Cote coating that is suppeosed to last longer than chrome paint, etc and lower the temp emitted by the header but that one is $300+
obx is $150ish and the normal pacesetter is about $180
