a lil surprise shocks - 6G Celicas Forums

so i was installing my new shocks and spring ... and i ran into this lil surprise on the driver side.

anyone know where to get a new boot? or what's it call o_O.. i tried searching online for it, and dont see them selling the seperate part.

napa has boot kits.

ahhhhhhhhhhhh that was my nightmare too, you got sealed struts, you need to buy full kybs or a strut housing . i have an extra housing somehwhere.

know where i can get them? pepboy? autozone? cant seem to find them online ><, if you have that extra housing and would like to sell me, let me know ^^

are both sides sealed, if so u need 2 housings, 1...i got one spare housing available, but if you need two, might be better off sellings the inserts and getting the full struts from kyb

or.. cut tap and weld?

they did it to some sealed struts in celicatech
